GHOSTUD® is a heavy duty drywall anchor designed to create an extremely strong mounting point in drywall without needing to hit a stud. It spreads weight across a larger area of drywall, allowing you to mount items securely where traditional anchors would fail.

When installed correctly, GHOSTUD® anchors can support significant weight depending on the model and drywall condition. The GS1 is designed for lighter mounting applications (up to 250lbs), while the GS2 is engineered for heavier loads (up to 1,000lbs) such as televisions, shelving systems, and cabinets.

No. GHOSTUD® is designed specifically for drywall mounting without a stud. The anchor distributes weight across the drywall surface, giving you a strong and reliable mounting point almost anywhere on the wall.

GHOSTUD® works with common drywall thicknesses typically found in residential construction, including 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch drywall.

The GS1 is designed for lighter household items such as towel bars, curtain rods, and smaller wall décor.
The GS2 is built for heavier applications such as TVs, floating shelves, cabinets, and large mirrors.

Most installations only require basic tools such as a drill, screwdriver, and a level depending on the item you are mounting. You will need either a 1" hole saw (GS1) or a 2" hole saw (GS2) to mount.

Yes. The GS2 model is designed to support heavier wall-mounted items such as flat screen televisions when installed properly.
